Project Manager

Tri-R Erecting is currently seeking a full-time team member for a Project Manager position.

The ideal candidate for this position must be self-motivated and enthusiastically willing to contribute to the team, work well with others, and possess excellent time management skills. Previous industry-specific experience is required (Pallet Racking & Warehouse Systems). Direct project management (installation/tear down of warehouse racking & racking systems) required.

This position will be working directly with the sales team, customers, and vendors to manage projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Review project blueprints and create project material lists
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for impeccable execution
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet client deadlines
  • Take the lead and coordinate product delivery and installation
  • Work with Sales team to develop detailed project plans
  • Ensure projects meet timeline expectations

Requirements:

  • Previous Project Management / Coordination Experience – 3 Years Required
  • Familiarity of AutoCAD/ Prelim Engineering – Required
  • Direct Industry-Specific Experience (Installation / Teardown of Pallet Racking & Warehouse Systems) – 3-5 Years Required
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, etc…)
  • Individual has great judgment, takes initiative, and offers problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of personality types

  • Travel Required- 10-20%

Assistant Project Manager

Warehouse Personnel

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and operating warehouse for company. These operations include shipping, inventory, delivery. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment.

Responsibilities

  • Track and manage inventory, as necessary
  • Inspect warehouse and keep the warehouse clean and safe

  • Evaluate performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient work-flow processes

Layout/Fabricator

We are actively searching for skilled candidates with the ability to fabricate, who are highly motivated with the necessary skills to build our most complex products without much assistance other than the drawings. The ideal candidate will have the ability to MIG weld, grind, cut, read blueprints, read a tape measure, layout, fit, and square.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Able to bend, twist, push, pull and crouch throughout a shift
  • Able to stand for duration of shift (Approximately 8 hours)
  • Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced setting
  • Basic math and mechanical skills needed
  • Excellent attendance and has access to reliable transportation
  • Have a desire to problem solve and ability to pay attention to detail
  • Lay out, position, aligns, and fit components together.
  • Utilizes blueprints to fit and weld metal components.
  • Ability to set a welding machine, including the gas, volts, amps, and wire speed.

General Laborer

We are actively searching for skilled General Laborers with the ability to operate routine production machinery in accordance with blueprints and specifications provided.

Responsibilities

 

  • Follows safety regulations and maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Perform routine activities that produce the required results for a project within established specifications and tolerances.
  • Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
  • Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
  • Maintains logs and records of units produced. Reports any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
  • Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
  • Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
  • Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.

Sales Lead

We are actively searching for sales professionals who have great communication (both informally and formally using tools like PowerPoint), can approach small-to-large businesses to identify and build relationships with key decision makers, handle negotiation, and account planning. Experience in construction, racking systems, warehouse consulting, and/or warehouse design preferred.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Account Management

  • Manage a geographically defined territory and lead business development efforts with large target accounts both within and without the territory with which we currently do not do business
  • Conduct research using sales tools (e.g., LinkedIn) to identify decision makers at targeted accounts
  • Proactively build and manage relationships with decision makers at all levels, including the executive level
  • Serve as the integrator, introducing internal and external stakeholders, manage sales, and support product efforts to ensure customers receive coordinated attention, with all functions supporting one another
  • Develop materials for regular business reviews and proposals with decision makers at large target accounts using PowerPoint, Excel, and other tools
  • Lead sales meetings with large target accounts and serve as the face of The Bailey Company
  • Engage in structured, strategic account planning with owner to plan sales approach and set forecasts and targets for new accounts
  • Work with the billing team to provide accurate accounting specifics for the sale


Requirements

Candidate must have 2-4 years of experience in racking, construction, warehouse, or related fields.

Maintenance

We are currently hiring for a Maintenance position for contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels and efficiently support ongoing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving inbound products and equipment at site locations
  • Moving product to final location (warehouse, onsite, etc.)
  • Adhering to inventory control procedures, including proper transfer type usage and inventory taking procedures.
  • Follows safety regulations and maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Perform routine activities that produce the required results for a project within established specifications and tolerances.
  • Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.

Requirements

2 years of experience in high volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment related work.

Welder

Responsibilities

  • Perform necessary welding in a production environment.
  • Ability to weld safely.
  • Knowledge of various components and functions of material handling equipment and material.
  • Ability to consistently maintain organization is a fluid environment.
  • Ability to perform job duties while using various forms of Personal Protective Equipment such as steel toe shoes, hard hat, safety shield, etc.
  • Ability to maintain professional behavior in all situations.
  • Ability to communicate English clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Perform simple mathematical computations with speed and accuracy.
  • Regularly perform work in an environment with some exposure to noise, varying temperatures, smoke, etc.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, up to a full 8-hours.
  • Frequently use two hands to lift 50+ lbs. as well as manipulate product and equipment which may require reaching above the shoulders or kneeling to work at ground level
  •  Climb ladders, as needed to retrieve items off of high shelves or other locations.
  • Assemble and weld all types of racking to the highest quality level.
  • Develops welding projects by analyzing work orders, prints, and completed assembly; calculating requirements; studying metals; determining appropriate welding techniques.
  • Collects equipment and materials by studying specifications and component requirements; ordering supplies and gases.
  • Fabricates components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting-up and measuring assemblies; selecting appropriate method.
  • Verifies welding results by inspecting and testing welds.
  • Documents actions by completing records.
  • Maintains safe work environment by following procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Maintains equipment by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Accomplishes manufacturing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
